Thousands of California Future Farmers of America (FFA) members are spending several days in Fresno for their state conference.
Sunday, Fresno State students gave FFA members a tour on campus, including a look at the the university’s ag laboratory.
About 6,000 members are in Fresno for four days, participating in public speaking workshops, contests and award ceremonies.
“You can take what you learn from here and take it back to your school,” FFA member Alondra Gonzalez from Ceres said. “You learn things such as public speaking, and how to communicate with other members and how to communicate with other teachers.”
There are more than 76,000 California FFA members. The conference continues through Tuesday.
