Authorities continue to investigate two unrelated shootings in Reedley, the incidents occurred last night one in the area of Parlier and Frankwood and the second one on Jefferson and Crawford.

Michelle Youngblood lives in the area of the first shooting at Jefferson and Crawford in Reedley where two victims were shot right before nine, Wednesday night.

“I’m relieved now that they got him because I don’t want to go home and someone be on the run,” said Youngblood.

The suspect identified as 52-year-old Alfredo Ramirez of Reedley was arrested after deputies confirmed his location last night and booked into Fresno County jail.

“He faces to charges of assault with a deadly weapon but it could change to attempted murder charges now he has a 70,000 bail,” said Fresno County Sheriff spokesperson Tony Botti.

According to Fresno County Sheriffs, the 83 and 56 year old victims  were taken to Community Regional Medical Center where they are expected to survive.

In a second unrelated incident that was reported around 9:30 at night, Reedley police department confirmed that an 18-year-old male was shot several times in the upper body while crossing the intersections of Parlier and Frankwood.

The victim was also taken to CRMC where he remains in critical condition, so far no suspect has been identified.
