FRESNO, California – Police are investigating an armed robbery at a Fresno barbeque restaurant.
Officers received the call Tuesday around 10 p.m. from the Honolulu BBQ at Bullard and West Avenues.
Police say one employee was inside at the time of the robbery. He told investigators that the male suspect entered the store with a gun, had the employee open the cash register, and then ordered him to walk to the back of the store.
The suspect is described as a dark-skinned man, in his late teens to early 20s, with some sort of material covering his face. Detectives are trying to source surveillance footage from nearby businesses to understand how the crime took place.
