Apparent murder-suicide in Fresno takes bizarre turn

FRESNO, California (KSEE/KPGE) – We’re getting a first look at a couple in their 70’s who were the victims of an apparent murder-suicide Tuesday night at around 6:15 pm at Inyo and B Street in Fresno.

They are being identified tonight husband and wife Tong Moua, and Chia Yaj, both are reportedly in their 70’s.

Fresno Police Investigators at the scene say the couple were found alone in a room, deceased from gunshot wounds. Investigators say Moua reportedly had a gun in his hand.

Distraught family members were at the scene as the investigation continued.

A woman identifying herself as the couple’s daughter says the apparent murder-suicide may have been the result of a love triangle that took a deadly turn, but Police have not confirmed this.
