Amazon bringing new jobs to Fresno

News

Work continues on a massive new Amazon fulfillment center in Fresno.
Friday night on Eyewitness News at Eleven, will give you a sneak peak at the construction.
The new center will open next year.
It promises to bring in tax revenue, new opportunities and at least 1,500 new full time jobs.
City leaders are hoping the number will eventually double.
“The good thing about these jobs is they pay about $15 an hour with full benefits, health, dental, 401k, educational reimbursement. So, roughly 95% of our population qualifies for these jobs,” Mayor Lee Brand told CBS47.
