TULARE COUNTY, California (KSEE/KGPE) – A 66-year-old man died in a motorcycle crash near State Route 245, just south of Boyd Drive in Tulare County.

The CHP said the 66-year-old rider was unable to negotiate a curve and allowed his 1999 Harley Davidson to cross the northbound lane until it traveled off the east side of the roadway.
The motorcycle entered a dirt crevice and struck a shallow embankment. The rider was ejected from the motorcycle which ultimately landed on top of him on the east shoulder.
The rider was wearing a helmet but suffered fatal injuries.
Alcohol is not considered to be a factor.
