6 Vehicles Burn in Two Alarm Fresno Fire

FRESNO, Calif. — Six vehicles have burned in a fast moving two-alarm fire on Thursday night at a tire shop at Olive and Abby.
Fresno fire crews battled the blaze that left homes and cars damaged.

Luckily they said no one was at home at the time at the time of the fire and no one was hurt.
They responded just after 8 p.m.

40 firefighters responded to the blaze that engulfed a shed, damaged three homes and burnt three cars at a used car lot.

They said the fire could have been a lot worse because they had trouble gaining access to the homes. They were able to contain the blaze in 15 to 20 minutes.

Homeless had recently been seen by witnesses in the area.

Crews said they are investigating the cause. Fire officials said homeless encampments are nearby the fire but there is no word yet if that encampment is responsible.
