Visalia police said officers responded to an armed robbery at a Mobile gas station on East Mineral King.

The clerk said two masked men entered the business, armed with a sawed-off shotgun, and demanded money around 12:30 am Wednesday morning.

Police said the suspects left the business with approximately $200.00 in cash.

At 2:09 a.m. Visalia police said they responded to a second armed robbery at the 7-Eleven on West Walnut.

When officers arrived on scene the clerk said two masked men armed with a sawed-off shotgun later identified as Joshua Del Villar and a juvenile entered the business and demanded money.

The suspects took an undetermined amount of cash and fled on foot.

While officers were at the business they heard dogs barking in the neighborhood and started checking the area. While searching the area officers located Joshua Del Villar and a juvenile hiding in a shed.
With the assistance of a police K-9, both suspects were taken into custody.

21-year-old Joshua Del Villar was booked at the Tulare County Pre-Trial Facility and a 17-year-old juvenile was booked at the Tulare County Juvenile Detention Center. Both were booked for two counts of armed robbery.
