2008 recession to blame for high prices on Christmas trees

It takes 10 years to grow the perfect Christmas tree, but in 2008, the recession put many growers out of business causing a shortage today.

According to Melvin Johnson with Clovis Christmas Trees this is why the prices are higher this year, but as we learned people are still buying them.
