200 students receive brand new backpacks at Pinedale Elementary

FRESNO, California (KSEE) – There was a lot of excitement Pinedale Elementary School in Fresno as 200 students were given brand-new backpacks.

They were donated by Fresno Acura and filled with school supplies.

Employees packed them with pencils, colored markers, notebooks, and flash drives.

“It really means a lot for our kids, who don’t always have the supplies and things that they need at home to get their homework or school projects done. Now, they also have their own set at home,” said Debra Bolls.

The Fresno football club mascot, “Fuego the Fox”, was there to help with the delivery.
