The 16-year-old who was killed Saturday near Clovis and Huntsman avenues in Fresno County has been identified.

Friends and family say the teen is 16-year-old Ramon Gonzalez from Selma, California.

California Highway Patrol spokesperson Vic Taylor says Gonzalez died after he collided with a big rig while riding his dirt bike in Fowler, California.

They say he was a sophomore at Selma High School and played on the junior varsity football team.

Friends gathered Sunday afternoon as they remembered Gonzalez saying, he was always the one to make everyone smile and laugh.
