Grass fire contained at 100 acres west of Kerman

FRESNO COUNTY, California - UPDATE: A fire being called the "Whitesbridge incident" was contained Monday to 100 acres in rural Fresno County, the Fresno Fire Department said.

More than 20 fire personnel worked to contain the fire.

No injuries were reported.

A fire being called "Whitesbridge incident" has grown to 50 acres in rural Fresno County, the Fresno Fire Department said Monday.

The fire is in the area of Whitesbridge and James roads several miles west of Kerman.

The Fire Department said wind was to blame for the fire's growth.

No other information was immediately available.
