Our healthcare hero this week has been a registered nurse for more than four decades. You can currently find her in the operating room at Clovis Community Medical Center.
Margaret Wild has been with Community since the beginning of her nursing career. Those who work with her, say she never seems to run out of energy, and motivates them to want to do better not only for their patients, but for themselves.
Margaret commented, “I have been part of the corporation for 42 years, and I work in surgery right now at Clovis Community [Medical Center]. I love being a nurse, and I love being a operating room nurse because of the fulfillment it gives me to help patient care, the technology that we deal with every day in surgery, and it gives me a personal fulfillment. The corporation has been wonderful to me, I love working here, I am very fulfilled every day, I am never bored, and I love my job.”
She said she’s seen how much the field has changed through the years, inspiring other up and coming nurses along the way. But that challenge is what keeps her going.
