Fresno City College will celebrate “Giving Tuesday” by raising money for students with food insecurities.

The Ram Pantry is a free food assistance program for FCC students who are currently enrolled. All proceeds from this inaugural giving campaign will benefit the Ram Pantry.

“As we prepare for Nov. 27, we’re energized and encouraged by the community’s generosity. The levels of creativity, effort and the quality of the new ideas people have contributed and shared are phenomenal,” said Carole Goldsmith, president of Fresno City College.

State Center Community College Foundation Board President Gina Cuttone has agreed to match $5,000 to the Ram Pantry during the event.

The goal is to raise $50,000 this year. All donations will increase the Ram Pantry’s purchasing power each week to provide healthy food options for FCC students.
