How to get $25 tickets to see ‘Rent’ at the Saroyan Theatre

How would you like to get tickets to see ‘Rent’ in Fresno for only $25? Here’s your opportunity.

Broadway in Fresno announced Wednesday that seats in the first rows of the orchestra section will be available for $25 for every performance of ‘Rent’.

The $25 tickets are available for in-person purchase at the Saroyan Theatre Box Office.

Organizers say people will be able to get them on the day of each performance only, two hours before the show. The $25 tickets are limited to two tickets per person.

Organizers say the tradition of these tickets began in 1996 in New York when the show moved to Broadway after a sold-out run in a small downtown theatre. They say the producers of the show are committed to continuing this tradition, by offering the $25 orchestra seats in each city the show plays in.

‘Rent’ performs at the Saroyan Theatre February 6 and 7.
