#GirlPower: Fresno Unified elementary schools teaching young girls how to be leaders

FRESNO, California (KGPE) – Elementary schools in the Fresno Unified School District are holding Girl Power clubs.

It’s teaching young girls how to be leaders in life.

“They learn different social and life skills,” said Girl Power advisor Ashley Baines.

“We teach them about responsibility being kind, self-care, we also talk about community service and how important it is to give back to your community.”
