If you’re pregnant and looking for ways to relax or stay fit, consider prenatal yoga. This healthy workout regiment will help mommies-to-be prepare for labor and it’ll promote baby’s health. Staying active and flexible are critical components of a healthy pregnancy. Prenatal yoga utilizes postures to increase strength and mobility throughout pregnancy, leading to less aches and pains, a more manageable delivery and faster recovery.
Prenatal yoga classes are offered at Old Town Yoga in Clovis. They are currently offering a six-week series. The dates are as follows: August 30, September 6, September 13, September 20, September 27, and October 4.
Old Town Yoga owner Desiree Heckman joins us in studio with instructor Whitney Alessandri to show us postures and give us details on what a typical prenatal yoga class might involve.
