Learn how to keep your liver healthy

Central Valley Today

We often hear about events that bring awareness to different cancers or heart disease. But now, a local doctor is asking you to think about your liver. Dr. Marina Roytman is a clinical professor of medicine at UCSF Fresno and Director of the UCSF Fresno Liver Program.

Dr. Roytman created the educational event, Liver Expo, which is debuting on October 19. It’s a free, public event, but space is limited, and guests must register as it will be a first-come, first-serve basis. It’s aimed at increasing awareness and promoting liver health. It is sponsored by UCSF Fresno and Community Medical Centers.

Details of the event:
Saturday, Oct. 19
8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
UCSF Fresno
155 N. Fresno Street
Fresno, CA 93701
