UTEP picks up first road win under Rodney Terry

The streak is over.

The UTEP men’s basketball team won at Rice on Thursday, 72-64, ending a 19-game road losing streak.

Fresno native Daryl Edwards (Fresno HS) scored 22 points for the Miners, who had been 0-6 on the road this season. They were 0-13 on the road last season, in Rodney Terry’s first year as head coach after coming over from Fresno State.
