TULARE, Calif. (KSEE) – On October 10th, 2003, Bear Pascoe led Granite Hills into Bob Mathias Stadium to play Tulare Western.

It was Week 6 of the high school football season.

Pascoe would go on to be a standout tight end at Fresno State, but in high school he played quarterback. His senior season was 2003, and he was the East Yosemite League’s Player of the Year: 1,001 yards passing, 850 yards rushing.

Pascoe was 6’5,” 252 pounds…in high school!
