QB Jaden Casey decommits from Fresno State

Bulldog Sports

The Fresno State football team suffered a tough loss on the field Saturday at Air Force.

On Monday, the Bulldogs suffered a tough loss in recruiting.

Jaden Casey, a senior quarterback at Calabasas High School, announced on Twitter that he is now committed to Cal. He had originally committed to Fresno State in June of 2018.

Casey threw for a combined 70 touchdowns between his sophomore and junior years of high school. He holds scholarship offers from quite a few Power Five schools, including Alabama and Utah.

Fresno State recently added Jake Haener to its quarterback group, a midseason transfer from Washington. It is unclear at this time if that decision played a role in Casey’s decommitment.
