Mederios Babb joined KSEE24/CBS47 in May 2019 as a news reporter all the way from Montana. She made the move to the Central Valley eager to connect to her family roots; her grandmother grew up in Los Banos.

Mederios is a dedicated reporter who has a passion for finding the truth and telling heart-wrenching stories that impact the local community. Mederios has covered everything from presidential visits to crime, government, and human interest.

Mederios spent most of her life in Montana. She grew up in historic Butte, America and later moved 80 miles to the west, where she earned her Bachelors of Arts in Journalism from the University of Montana in December of 2017. While at UM, she received the Northwest Regional College Student Award of Excellence in 2016 and the Dean’s Award.

After graduating in only 3.5 years, Mederios accepted a job at KBZK in Bozeman, Montana where she reported on anything and everything. She covered city and county government, forest fires, presidential visits, the 2018 campaign, and many local events.

Since moving to Fresno, Mederios has connected with her Portuguese heritage and attended her first Festa in Easton while covering the event for the evening news.

Mederios loves hiking, traveling, and most importantly the Denver Broncos. If you have a story tip or a story idea contact
