Kaile Hunt joined KSEE24 News and CBS47 Eyewitness News October 2018 as a day-side reporter along with fill-in weather forecaster. Catch her reports weekday evenings during the 5 and 6 p.m. newscasts.
Kaile is a proud Fresno State Alumni who graduated with a double major in Broadcast Journalism and Philosophy Pre-Law. Kaile was very involved during her college years. She was part of the PanHellenic Sorority Phi Mu, ASI Senator of Arts and Humanities, and a Dog Days Orientation Leader.
After graduating from Fresno State she started her career at our Nexstar affiliate station in Midland / Odessa Texas. There she covered everything from ice storms, tornadoes, flooding, and much more severe weather and breaking news.
Kaile is happy to be back in her home state of California. When she isn’t reporting or forecasting the weather she enjoys going to the many local farmers markets buying all of the fresh fruit grown in the Central Valley.
Kaile was born in Hayward, California, so when the triple digits hit during the summer months, she enjoys escaping the heat and heading to the Bay Area.
In her free time, Kaile likes to go to the movies, try new local restaurants, and binge-watching shows on Netflix and Hulu.
