Justin Sacher is your weekend meteorologist anchoring the Saturday and Sunday editions of CBS47 Pinpoint Weather.
Justin holds a B.S. degree in Journalism from the University of Illinois and completed his meteorological certification through Mississippi State University.
He has earned the American Meteorological Society’s Seal of Approval, a mark of distinction awarded to meteorologists meeting established criteria for scientific competence.
Justin’s goal is to be the Valley’s wildfire weather expert. He recently earned basic wildland firefighting and fire behavior certifications at Reedley College.
Most of Justin’s family lives either in California’s Central Valley the Chicago area. He jokes he’s not the first of his relatives to head west for the Golden State, and certainly won’t be the last.
Justin is an outdoor enthusiast. When not forecasting the weather he’s out enjoying it – most likely on his bike exploring a new trail.
