A big weekend is on tap in Fresno and Clovis with Fresno State taking on Nevada at Bulldog Stadium for the "Blackout" game Saturday night and the Two Cities Marathon in Fresno and Clovis on Sunday.

Warmer, high pressure air will control the weather for the first part of the weekend and a cooler area of low pressure air will swing through for Sunday.

So Saturday will be the warmer of the two days with a high temperature of 77-degrees in the Pinpoint forecast so tailgating for
the Fresno State vs Nevada "Blackout" game will be perfect.

The temperature for kickoff at 7:30 will be about 64-degrees under mainly clear skies.

A breeze may pick up during the game as a cold front moves into the area and some high clouds will drift overhead as well but no rain is in the forecast.

Saturday night's temperature at 10:30 should be about 57-degrees.

Sunday will be much cooler, but dry.

It'll be a cool start to the Two Cities Marathon early Sunday morning with a low temperature of around 50-degrees.

At 9:00 AM skies will be mostly clear to partly cloudy and the temperature will be about 54 and by 11:00 AM it will be right around 60-degrees.

A reinforcing shot of cool air will arrive Monday dropping temps into the low to middle 60s and frost is possible in a few spots early Tuesday morning.

The next chance of rain will come at the end of next week with another storm system forecast to drop through on Friday.
