The Valley Air District reports the San Joaquin Valley is in compliance with air quality standards for the first time in decades. Now its asking that a $29 million penalty against residents be lifted.
Jamie Holt with Valley Air joined KSEE Sunrise' Carina Corral to talk about how the "huge accomplishment" was reached and the likelihood of the federal government lifting the fine that has increased registration fees for valley residents.
