A cool storm system will bring a dramatic change to central California's weather this weekend.

Cool air will sweep in from the northwest overnight Friday and drop Saturday's high temps across the valley into the 70s with a slight chance of sprinkles or light showers.

Sunday looks dry but still much cooler than normal.

Fresno's almanac shows a normal low temperature of 60 on Saturday and an normal high of 90.

The afternoon high will be about 10-degrees below seasonal normals this weekend.

After months of triple-digit highs this summer this cool down will feel downright like fall.  In fact the fall equinox occurs on Sunday at 1:44 pm.
