Celebrate the legacy of Dr. King
        MLK Events throughout the Valley
        Saturday, JANUARY 18th
        At Fresno City College an all-faith service and candlelight vigil will be held from 4-6 p.m. on 1101 E. University Ave., Old Administration Building, Auditorium.

        A community breakfast will be held at the Clovis Veterans Memorial Building on 453 Hughes Ave., Clovis.
        There will be a community breakfast at 9 a.m. The speaker is Fresno City Council Member Oliver Baines.Tickets at the door with a canned food item $5. Call for reservations. 324-2476.

        On Monday, January 19th

        There will be a march through Downtown Fresno. Find out all the information log onto www.fresnomlk.com  call 213-5925.

        Yosemite National Park will have a free admission day.

        In Tulare there will be a breakfast and march. Breakfast begins at 10 a.m. at the Claude Meitzheimer Community Center, 830 S. Blackstone in Tulare. The march begins at 11 a.m. Lunch will be served after the march followed by a program. 687-9480.

        In Merced there will be a march along Martin Luther King Jr. Way. It begins at 11 a.m. Marchers should gather at the Amtrak station on 24th Street and walk to the Merced County Fairgrounds.
