Officials with the California Lottery in Sacramento said a man came into the Lottery Commission office to claim the Powerball prize worth over $200 million.
Lottery officials have not released the man's identity. They still have to verify the information from the ticket to be sure it matches all 5 numbers and the Powerball number in the October 22nd drawing.
The winning Powerball ticket was sold at the Fast N Easy on Shields and Armstrong in Fresno. The store is expected to receive about $1 million for selling the winning ticket.
