Fresno County Property Tax Due Dec 10th

The first installment of the 2013-2014 secured property taxes becomes delinquent if not paid by 5:00 p.m. on December 10, 2013.
**PRESS RELEASE** Fresno County Auditor-Controller/Treasurer-Tax Collector, Vicki Crow, C.P.A., reminds all taxpayers that the first installment of the 2013-2014 secured property taxes becomes delinquent if not paid by 5:00 p.m. on December 10, 2013.

A 10% penalty will be added to all payments received in the office after 5:00 p.m. or postmarked by the United States Postal Service after December 10, 2013.

Anyone who has recently acquired property should verify that the taxes have been paid. FAILURE TO RECEIVE A TAX BILL DOES NOT RELIEVE THE TAXPAYER OF THE RESPONSIBILITY TO MAKE TIMELY PAYMENTS.

Tax information and payments may be obtained by accessing the website at www.co.fresno.ca.us or by calling and automated phone system at (559) 600-3482.

Payments by mail should be sent to the FRESNO COUNTY TAX-COLLECTOR, P.O. BOX 1192, FRESNO, CALIFORNIA 93715-1192.

Payees are encouraged to pay by mail or use the automated system to avoid parking problems and waiting in line to pay.  A drop box for payments made with a check is available in the lobby in Room 105 of the Hall of Records, 2281 Tulare Street, Fresno or a drive-through drop off service for payments made by check, which is located in front of the Hall of Records.
