Yosemite National Park Bill Stalled in Washington

The bill was introduced last year.
A bill that would add nearly 1,600 acres to Yosemite National Park is stalled in Washington.
It was introduced last year by Valley Representative, Jim Costa.
The 1,500 75 acres would come from the Pacific Forest Trust, and private property.
Several Republicans oppose the effort to expand federal land holdings.
They say the land should be used for ranching, logging, and mining.
