Tough water restrictions are in effect in Visalia. During April, sprinklers and irrigation systems can only run once a week. Next month, it'll go up to two days a week. City officials say landscape irrigation makes up the majority of the city's water usage. These restrictions are expected to cut back usage by 25%. It's a balancing act for homeowners and landscapers. Many say they're willing to do their part but it'll be tough to keep the grass green.
