Nine lucky families to receive new home through Habitat for Humanity

Nine lucky families found out Saturday they will be receiving a new home through Habitat for Humanity. But first they must put in 500 hours of hard work.
It was the surprise of a lifetime on Saturday for nine lucky families.

They found out they'll each be getting the keys to a brand new home.

It's all made possible by Habitat for Humanity of Fresno County.

The future homeowners will help build their interest free houses at the corner of Laval and Belgravia in Southeast Fresno.

They'll have to put in 500 hours of hard work before they move in.

The project is designed to make a difference with new and affordable housing in a poverty stricken neighborhood.
