Over one hundred students gathered at Edison High School on Saturday for an LGBT youth conference. They learned that they are not alone on campus.
Lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) high school students are learning they are not alone campus.

Youth leaders from the Gay-Straight Alliance (GSA) met Saturday at Edison High School.

More than one hundred students took part.

The group supports justice for everyone.

Organizers say the goal of Saturday's conference is to connect teens with adults to empower students to push back against harassment.

"The GSA club at my school has given me sort of a reassurance that there are people like me at this school and that I'm not alone and its sort of like a backbone," said Jonathon Ramirez, GSA Youth Council.

The organization works to develop leaders and make schools safer.
