Law Day 2014 was celebrated in Yosemite National Park Friday.
Over 200 students from Yosemite area schools joined several Federal Judges and park officials to learn about the law and how laws were integral to the creation and management of Yosemite National Park.
Special guests included historical re-enactors who portrayed Galen Clark, John Muir, Abraham Lincoln, and Theodore Roosevelt.
All of these people played integral roles in the history of Yosemite National Park.
An essay contest was conducted and the winners were announced during the celebration.
This is the second annual Law Day celebrated in Yosemite National Park and was chiefly organized by United States Magistrate Judge Michael Seng, who is stationed in Yosemite National Park.
