Madera County Sheriff John Anderson Extends Heartfelt Thanks
Junction Fire Now 90% Contained
Madera County – With the Junction Fire now 90% contained, tonight, Sheriff John Anderson is extending heartfelt thanks to the many who offered critical assistance during Oakhurst’s time of need.
A multitude of agencies deserve recognition for proving the Junction Fire, despite its grotesque energy, was less formidable than those fighting the blaze and the many who rescued citizens and tourists, successfully keeping them out of harm’s way.
