Ice bucket challenge goes viral

One of the latest fads to hit the internet, is called the ice bucket challenge.
You've probably seen one of the latest fads to hit the internet.
It's called the ice bucket challenge.
Social media is filling up with photos and videos of people, dumping buckets full of ice water on their heads.
But it's more than just about keeping cool.
It's all because of 29-year old Pete Frates. The former athlete was diagnosed with Lou Gehrig's Disease (A.L.S.) , in 2012.
The idea: douse yourself with freezing water, and challenge others to do the same.
If they don't comply within 24 hours, they must donate to the A.L.S Association.
The A.L.S Association raised over 10 times what it normally makes in a 10 day period earlier this summer.
