There are plenty of Easter festivities happening this weekend, but there are also a couple of ballgames you might want to check out. We've narrowed down a handful of events to do this weekend in your High Five report:
-It's one of the biggest Easter egg hunts in Fresno. Parents, bring your kids to Boomers! for the prize filled Eggstravaganza, a visit from the Easter Bunny, vendors, games and more. It's Saturday from 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. Kids ages ten and under are welcomed. Registration begins at 9:00 a.m.
-Also Saturday, Kiwanis Club of Greater Merced is hosting its annual Easter Egg Hunt. It's for kids of all ages. It's happening at Applegate Park starting at 10:00 a.m. Kiddieland will then open following the last egg hunt and close at 5:00 p.m.
-It's not too late to get your picture taken with the Easter Bunny. Spring photos at River Park are available Saturday and Sundays through next weekend from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. It's an Easter on the farm experience with live bunnies and baby chicks in front of Edward's IMAX Theater. Packages start at $20.
-Take a break from Easter festivities by hopping over to Chukchansi Park. The Grizzlies begin an eight-game homestand on Saturday. They're taking on the Reno Aces through Tuesday. Saturday's game is at 7:05 p.m. when the first seven-thousand fans get a 2010 San Francisco Giants World Series Replica Ring. Easter Sunday's game starts at 2 p.m.
-The Visalia Rawhides are also in town. They're taking on the Rancho Cucamonga Quakes Friday and Saturday at 7:00 p.m. Saturday is All-American night. Enjoy bbq off the grill, half price beers and sodas with your souvenir boot mugs, half price tickets for active/past members of the military, and the team will be wearing patriotic jerseys.
