Grizzlies win home opener 5-1

First home game of the season

Take me out to the ball game.

One by one they file in for the hot ticket on this Friday night, the home
opener for the Fresno Grizzlies.

"Oh my god! Grizzlies lets go!" said fan Alicia
Rivera.

All the staples of America's favorite pastime on
deck with plenty of cold ones, cotton candy galore, and lets not forget about
those dogs.

"I got a corn dog, some good hot fries, and my wife got another hot dog and
we're very hungry," said fan Bill Vander Kooi.

With plenty of ice to go around, the warmer than average temperatures not
keeping these diehard fans away.

"It's the hometown team. You have to root for the
hometown team," said Kenneth Swartz.

Still plenty of team spirit with orange and black the primary
colors tonight, welcoming the Grizzlies home.

"Looks like they got a good hitting team and the pitcher is
doing really well this year, " said Vander Kooi.

As Parker works the crowd, baseball bugs of all ages hope to
catch a ball in the stands.

"Woohoo!"

In a place where 'legends start,' the first of many more fun filled games to
come this season is now in the bag.
