Man Wanted for a Series of Gold Chain Robberies

Police need your help identifying the suspect.

        On Saturday, May 17th and again on Sunday, May 18th an unknown black male adult entered the 98 Cent Store at 4843 E. Butler and the Laundromat at 4910 E. Kings Canyon where he robbed victims of their gold necklaces.
        In both cases the suspect ripped the gold chains from the victims’ necks. In the 98 cent store robbery, the suspect hit the victim several times over the head causing injury prior to fleeing the store with the victim’s property.
        The public is being asked to help identify the suspect and anyone with information on his identity is asked to call Detective Donnie Dinnell at 621-6334, or if you wish to remain anonymous you can call Crime Stoppers at 498-STOP (7867) where you can receive up to a $1000 reward for information leading to an arrest.
