Fresno County Sheriff asking for help to identify human remains

The Fresno County Sheriff's Department is asking the public for help identifying human remains that were found back in March near Easton.
Fresno County Sheriff's deputies are asking for help in identifying human remains found last month near Easton.

They were discovered on a farm in a clearing known as Witches Grove.

Investigators believe the body may have been there anywhere from three months to a year.

The victim is believed to be a Hispanic man 25 to 40 years-old, around 5'6" with a thin build.

The victim was wearing jeans with a 30 inch waist, dark blue or black with the logo Southpole on the waistband.

He was also wearing a white or light colored t shirt and a black ribbed tank top.

He was also wearing a dark woven belt with a letter "d" on the belt buckle.

If you think you know who the clothes belong to and who the victim is you're asked to call the Fresno Sheriff's Department or Crime Stoppers at 498-STOP.
