It's a heated race that the Fresno Bee reports has topped the $1 million mark.

Lisa Smittcamp appeared on Sunrise to address some of the claims made by Egan, including Smittcamp's 'plan to increase plea deals.' She also discusses her plan to increase jail space and answers the questions as to why this race has gotten so negative on both sides.

KSEE24 News has extended an invitation to D.A. Egan to also appear on Sunrise.
