Educator of the Week: Jaime Maxey

Each week we honor a teacher in the Valley who's making a difference. This week we head to Bullard High in Fresno.
P.E. teacher and coach Jaime Maxey is a cheerleader for all her students, from rooting them on from the sidelines, to teaching them lessons in life through her coaching.
Her students say she teaches about character and how to work hard and to be disciplined.
Lesson number one: work hard...with no complaints.
"It's a hard thing to do when your sprinting and if they can accomplish that it's a good quality to have for the rest of their life," said Maxey.
She also teaches them to support one another and help others.
Her students say she's loved by everyone on campus and the feeling is mutual.
"I really love this area, this is where I grew up this is where I still live, the kids are great that's the best part of the job, they're great and i love building relationships with them," she said.
She's a Bullard High grad herself.
