The Fresno Chaffee Zoo is going prehistoric!
Saturday is Dino Nite where kids can hang out with some of their favorite dinosaurs.
Kids can take part in a dino dig, make-and-take crafts, a viewing of the birds show, watch an episode of the hit PBS show Dinosaur Train on the big screen and take pictures with the show's star, Buddy.
"We have a lot of community booths and one is our bio-facts table where we have fossils and lots of hands on tools for kids to learn about prehistoric times and just the past with fossils and things like that. It's going to be a lot of fun and very educational," said the zoo's Jordan Escobar.
Dino Nite is happening this Saturday from 5pm-9pm.
Tickets $12 for member adults and $9 member kids, ages 2-11. They're $15 for adults and $12 for kids who are non-members.
It's suggested to buy tickets on-line at fresnochaffeezoo.org to avoid long lines at the gate.
