Press Release:

The Fresno County Sheriff’s Office today announced the arrest of five Fresno men in connection with an ongoing vehicle burglary investigation in northwest Fresno. Arrested were 26 year old Aaron Paul Stevens, 29 year old Tyrone Johnny Hardeman, 18 year old twin brothers, Joshua David Ryan and Jacob Michael Ryan, and 34 year old Kevork Martirosian.

The incident began this past Sunday morning, shortly after 2:30am, when deputies were dispatched to a suspicious activity call in the area of Wilson & Indianapolis.

The caller, a vehicle burglary victim from the night before, reported seeing four subjects on bicycles stopped at a neighbor’s home in the 4500 block of E Indianapolis. As the caller was on the phone, the four subjects fled the area.

The information was broadcast and, moments later, assisting deputies stopped Stevens, Hardeman, and the Ryan’s near the intersection of Maroa & Shaw.

Two of the subjects had duffle bags in their possession. Property inside the bags led deputies to a residence located in the 1500 block of E San Gabriel, where deputies discovered an unreported vehicle burglary. The victim of the burglary was able to positively identify some of the property as having been stolen from her vehicle.

The investigation also led to the AK Smoke Shop in Fresno where a stolen IPhone was recovered.

Further information led deputies to Martirosian’s home located in the 5000 block of N West Ave. There, deputies recovered a laptop computer taken during another vehicle burglary, and a stolen car.

As a result, Stevens was arrested on charges of burglary, possession of stolen property, and conspiracy to commit a felony. Hardeman was arrested on charges of burglary, possession of stolen property, and possession of burglary tools. The Ryan brothers were arrested on charges of burglary and possession of stolen property. Martirosian was arrested on charges of possession of a stolen vehicle, possession of stolen property, and probation violations.

All were booked into the Fresno County Jail.
