Thieves Target Auto Dealership Caught on Video

The suspects were caught on video surveillance. Police need your help to track them down.

On May 31st at about 3 am, four unknown suspects jumped the barbwire fence at the Westland Auto Sales at 3910 E. Belmont and stole eight rims and tires, one car stereo and three batteries totaling approximately $3000. The suspects were caught on video surveillance and are described as three Hispanic males and one black male in their late teens or early twenties. The suspects appeared to have left in a Dodge Caravan and are believed to have been involved in two other thefts at this location that occurred on March 12th and April 11th.

Anyone with information on the identity of these suspects is asked to call Detective John Mendes at 621-6311, or if you wish to remain anonymous you can call Crime Stoppers at 498-STOP (7867) where you can receive up to a $1000 reward for information leading to an arrest.
