Suspects of 7 Eleven Armed Robbery Identified

The two police believe robbed a 7 Eleven have been identified.

Fresno Police Department news release of two suspects identified in a recent armed robbery
On Friday, May 23rd, 2014 at 3:02 am, Southeast patrol officers responded to Seven Eleven located at 6015 E Kings Canyon, regarding an armed robbery. Officers learned that two suspects walked inside the business and held the clerk at gunpoint. The first suspect pulled out a small silver handgun and demanded money from the register. When the clerk opened the till, the suspect leaned over the counter and grabbed the money. The second suspect stood by, acting as a lookout. The suspects fled the store on foot, leaving with less than $30.00.
On Monday, June 2nd, 2014, the Fresno Police Department asked for the public’s help. Our local news stations, Crimestoppers, and social media sites aired the robbery video of the unidentified suspects. After the video release, phone calls and tips from citizens began to pour in. Detectives followed up on the information and positively identified Johnathan Cervantez, and Te’Arin Wilkins as responsible for the armed robbery.
Johnathan Cervantez is a 19 year old Fresno resident and a Bulldog gang member associate. Te’Arin Wilkins is a 20 year old Fresno resident and a validated Calwa Bulldog gang member. Photos are attached.

Citizens with information can also call Crime Stoppers at 498-STOP. As always, citizens who provide information will remain anonymous and may receive a reward of up to $1000.
