$5 million Reward for Arrest of Fresno DEA Agent's Killer

There's new information on the search for a Mexican drug lord charged with killing a former Fresno DEA agent.
There's new information on the search for a Mexican drug lord charged with killing a former Fresno DEA agent.

A $5 million reward has been issued for the capture and conviction of Rafael Caro Quintero. He was sentenced to 40 years in the death of Enrique "Kiki" Camarena back in the 80's, but in August was released 12 years early on a technicality. Three Mexican judges ruled Quintero should've been tried in state court and not federal court and set him free.

Now, the Mexican Supreme Court has overruled that decision. Mexican and U.S. authorities are on the hunt for Quintero.

The Resident Agent in Charge of the Fresno DEA office John Donnelly sat down with Sunrise's Carina Corral talk more about the recent developments in the case.
