Pettersen remains third in women's world rankings

<p>Suzann Pettersen collected her 12th LPGA Tour title on Sunday, but despite the win she remained No. 3 in this week's women's world rankings.</p>

Philadelphia, PA (Sports Network) - Suzann Pettersen collected her 12th LPGA Tour title on Sunday, but despite the win she remained No. 3 in this week's women's world rankings.

She did close within one average point of No. 2 Stacy Lewis and within three average points of No. 1 Inbee Park.

Park, Lewis and Pettersen were again followed by No. 4 Na Yeon Choi, So Yeon Ryu, Karrie Webb and amateur star Lydia Ko.

Shanshan Feng and Catriona Matthew inched up one place apiece to eighth and ninth. Matthew did so on the strength of her win on the Ladies European Tour on Sunday. I.K. Kim tumbled two places to No. 10.

Paula Creamer maintained her position in 11th and was again followed by Jiyai Shin, Cristie Kerr and Ai Miyazato.

Lizette Salas jumped three to No. 15 and that pushed Yani Tseng down one to 16th. Angela Stanford remained No. 17, while Hee Young Park fell two to 18th.

Mika Miyazato and Karine Icher closed out the top 20 again this week.
