Visalia teacher arrested, suspected of molesting a student

VISALIA, California - Detectives from Tulare County Sheriff's Office "Crimes Against Childrens Unit" discovered a Visalia teacher had been having a sexual relationship with a student.

The unit found on Friday that Sycamore Valley Academy teacher Andrew Ontiveros, 22, had been messaging a student via social media. The messages -- from Ontiveros and the student -- contained explicit images.

Further Investigation found the two had engaged in sexual contact. Ontiveros has since been arrested, charged with crimes against the child.
